Forests are not just a resource, they’re not a privilege. It’s everyone’s responsibility to use them responsibly and save them for future generations. We fully support Sengirė / The Ancient Woods Foundation, and we are pleased to be part of the “Leisk gamtai pailsėti” (Let Nature Rest) campaign.
Three talented Lithuanian artists — Neringa Rekašiūtė, Eglė Plytnikaitė and Elvina Nevardauskaitė — have joined forces to create the visuals. Together with JCDecaux, which selected popular locations in Vilnius, and Oxylabs, which supported the initiative, we ensured that the creative messages were seen. High-quality print, wide format, well-chosen locations – all of these features describe the new campaign of the “Sengirė Foundation”.
We believe that a well-delivered social message can help to make a difference, so it’s a pleasure that our efforts were appreciated by the authors of the creative idea: “It’s an amazing feeling to see your photos all over the city in large format,” says Neringa Rekašiūtė. Meanwhile, Eglė Plytnikaitė was impressed by the colours of their photos in the context of the autumn streets of Vilnius — “we couldn’t help but admire the brightness”.
As Eglė noted: “If you don’t see it, it doesn’t hurt. That is why we wanted to exhibit our project in the city, to remind people that it hurts. Not only do we need a break, but nature needs a break too; the exploitation of forests must stop”.
